With a career spanning luxury salons, international royalty, celebrity clients and major fashion houses, Marco Maranghello has spent decades shaping sophisticated beauty at the highest levels of style.

From red carpets and international runways to some of New York’s most exclusive salons, Marco Maranghello has built a career defined by artistry, elegance and an instinctive understanding of glamour.

Born in Argentina, Maranghello came to New York City with an early passion for beauty and a belief that personal style is as much about confidence as appearance. His career took an important turn under the mentorship of legendary hairstylist Oribe Canales, whose influence helped shape Maranghello’s polished approach to sophisticated, timeless beauty.

Maranghello later held prominent positions within New York’s luxury beauty world, including at John Barrett Salon at Bergdorf Goodman, where his clientele ranged from leading social figures to international royalty. Among those whose hair he has styled are Jennifer Lopez and her sisters Leslie Ann and Lynda, as well as Queen Silvia of Sweden, Princess Madeleine of Sweden and Queen Mary of Denmark.

His work has appeared in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle, Town & Country and PAPER. His fashion credits span Chanel, Thom Browne, Oscar de la Renta, Versace, Marchesa, Armani, Malan Breton, Marc Bouwer and Cesar Galindo. He has also appeared as a beauty expert on The Martha Stewart Show and TODAY.

One notable milestone came when Maranghello created Jennifer Lopez’s first hair extensions, a reflection of the technical skill and forward-thinking approach that have become hallmarks of his work. His expertise also includes wigs and extensions, allowing him to create transformations that remain polished, natural and highly individualized.

Beyond fashion and beauty, Maranghello has used his talents to support others. He has donated hair pieces to chemotherapy patients and participated in charitable initiatives involving the arts, education and underserved communities. His film work has supported projects addressing child abuse, LGBTQ youth and minority communities, including involvement with Draw With Me, created in partnership with The Trevor Project.
